CREDITS

The AEF offers courses certified according to the guidelines of the Bologna Process,

it represents the Elon University of North Carolina in Europe,

and is a Training Agency recognized by the Regione Toscana:

each course complies with this triple quality status and comes under the ECTS (European Credit Transfer System) for attendance certificates through equivalence with the American training credits.

The ECTS credits constitute a new European academic standard, established in 1999 with the Bologna Process for the purpose of enabling the mobility of students within the borders of Europe under the Erasmus project. Today, the ECTS makes it possible for the best European higher education institutes to communicate with the whole world. The system defines the characteristics of the courses, the contact hours, study hours, clarity of the information, guidelines for assessing the results, and more importantly, it guarantees the maximum transparency and quality of every aspect of the educational offer.

Every student is responsible for checking with their Institution for the recognition of the course credits towards their degree.

The Accademia Europea di Firenze is an International School of Italian Arts and Culture.
