The Accademia Europea di Firenze is an International School of Italian Arts, Language and Culture. Founded in 2005 as an Italian language school for foreigners, over time our school has expanded and transformed to now offer students courses of Italian art and culture, music and dance. AEF also offers Certificate Programs in Voice & Opera, Drawing & Painting, Dance, and Italian Language & Culture, as well as Study Abroad Programs in collaboration with prestigious American Universities, intensive Summer and Winter Programs and Joint Academic Programs developed with universities from all over the world. FLOAREA

With a Degree in Literature and Philosophy from the University of Bucharest, Floarea later obtained a Ph.D. in Literature from the same university and a second Ph.D. in History and Civilization from the European University of Florence. She is the author of numerous publications and has carried out intense research work. She has been teaching since 1991, initially in Romania and then in Italy, mainly in programs for the American Universities in Florence. She speaks 6 modern languages as well as several ancient ones.
