LIBERAL AND PERFORMING ARTS SUMMER PROGRAM
Students can choose up to 2 courses from both our Liberal and Performing Arts Offering (see our Course Options), for up to 6 U.S. Credits.
The AEF courses adhere to the guidelines of the Bologna Process, releasing ECTS credits with proposed US credits equivalency.
The European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) credits constitute a new European academic standard. Today, that makes it possible for the best European higher education institutes to communicate with the whole world. The system defines the characteristics of the courses, the contact hours, study hours, clarity of the information, guidelines for assessing the results, and more importantly, it guarantees the maximum transparency and quality of every aspect of the educational offer.
The Liberal Arts Course Options are focused on Italian Art, Culture and Language.
The Performing Arts Course Options include Music and Dance classes, and are targeted towards Performance Majors and Minors. Ensembles are by audition only.
Students will also attend the Curricular Faculty-Led Activities, which are an integration of the classes and of the contact hours needed for credit transfer, as well as an outstanding opportunity for cultural immersion.

Participation in Jazzit Festival (departure from Florence June 22nd and return to Florence on June 26th), including transportation, double/triple room accommodations including breakfast and Half Board for 4 nights.
