With a degree in classical literature, Silvia is a journalist and critic and works for specialized Italian and foreign magazines. She prepares essays and conferences on dance-theater for the main Italian festivals and theaters and is a history lecturer at the Urbino, Venice, Siena and Florence Universities. The author of monographs, she also collaborated in writing Storia della danza italiana-History of Italian Dance (2011).
