History of Italian Music


Description

Italian music is very important for understanding what Italy is. Since the nineteenth century it has been a historical vector for the process of national unification. In the 20th century, Italian music reached peaks of international importance, with the birth of cultural events with the Sanremo festival. The importance of Italian composers for cinema is inexhaustible, as is the case with Ennio Morricone. Music can be a doorway into Italian culture through emotional learning.
