COURSE ENROLLMENT AND CONFIRMATION
Please be aware that course requests will be accommodated according to date and time in which registrations were received at ELON (earliest to latest).
We will send you your individual schedules as soon as all course registrations have been finalized.
ADD/DROP
Once here in Florence, you will have a chance to adjust your schedule. AEF deadline for Spring Classes Add/Drop requests is on Friday February 7th by 12PM.
COURSE SCHEDULE AND CONFLICTS
A few courses overlap so please check there are no conflicts with your selections (see the course schedule and the registration guide).
COURSE SELECTION
Please check with your Academic Advisor regarding the courses that fit your graduation plan. If you have questions about how courses count, please refer to the Transfer Articulation Table (https://www.elon.edu/transferarticulation/) and the program brochure page https://elon.studioabroad.com/index.cfm?FuseAction=Programs.ViewProgram&Program_ID=10036
We suggest you to also contact Janelle Papay jpapay@elon.edu at the registrar’s office. He will be able to assist you.
NUMBER OF COURSES
Regular workload is equivalent to 16/18 credits (including optional additional Art and Music courses). So please select 3 courses, beside Italian (see below Italian Courses).
ITALIAN COURSES
Italian Language classes are a program requirement: if you take 8 credits, you will need only two more courses. If you have never taken Italian, please select Italian 1210.
COURSE PRIORITY
Courses will fill quickly and you may not get your ideal schedule. You will be asked to tell us the classes that are most important for your graduation plan, so we can try to accommodate your requests.
ALTERNATIVE COURSES
You will be asked to indicate alternative courses for each selection in case the courses you have chosen are full (to be indicated for each course, for example: Ethics instead of Italian Politics)
PRIVATE INSTRUCTION / ADDITIONAL COURSES
AEF offers private instruction in music and fine arts, either on a for-credit or not-for-credit basis. (See additional course list with prices) If you are interested, please indicate the courses that you wish to attend on the registration form.
