Experimental Fashion

Description

The course, both theoretical and practical in nature, aims to introduce alternative, experimental, and non-traditional approaches to the design and creation of clothing. Concepts, pattern-making, garment construction, and finishing will undergo a radical identity revision, with a focus on social phenomena and cool hunting.

Learning outcomes

Students will learn to approach design creatively, developing the structure of garments by leveraging improvisation and discovering new and personalized shapes, volumes, and production techniques. They will explore original materials with the possibility of innovatively altering textures and patterns.
