Performing Arts Programs

AEF Performing Arts Programs are designed for students and professionals wishing to acquire specialized formative training for their future careers as dancers and musicians. Participants in the AEF Performing Arts Programs participate in live performances in Florence, Italy.
Participants share ensembles, concerts, dance performances, and exhibitions and are regularly involved in productions and collaborations with the most prestigious cultural institutions of the city. Performances are a fundamental part of the training and an opportunity to measure the progress achieved in a professional, international environment.

• 15-week semesters (fall and spring);
  * AEF Performing Arts Programs may range from 12 weeks to 15 weeks, and the duration of the course is determined by student visas and permits.
• Taught by master faculty with extensive experience in their disciplines;
• Participants perform live at various venues in Florence, Italy;
• AEF transcripts issued upon completion of the program.

The programs are offered in the fall and spring semesters. Students enroll in a core set of courses for either Dance or Opera. At the end of each semester, students receive an AEF Diploma. An Elon University transcript with US course credits is available for an additional fee. All courses of the Performing Arts Program are taught in English.
