The AEF Program in Voice & Opera combines training in vocal and musical technique with dramaturgical preparation, thus offering lyrical singers an integrated perspective of the art of singing and performance.
The core instructors are Susanna Rigacci and Cristiano Manzoni. Both are accomplished professional musicians and educators who have successfully prepared aspiring singers for careers in Opera.
Students experiment with broader fields of study, from musical theater to lyric repertoire, in order to acquire all the skills necessary to face their future careers. In addition to lectures in the classroom, held by internationally renown professors and artists, the program offers the opportunity to participate in shows and productions under the guidance of directors, choreographers, producers and professional designers.
Admission to the program is not subject to a traditional Audition: applicants will have to send audio materials that will be examined by the teaching staff of AEF. Once the evaluation of these materials has been carried out, only the candidates for whom the requests further information will be contacted.
