
Mariagiulia Da Riva
Director of Student Life & Community Engagement
Before joining AEF, Mariagiulia Da Riva worked for over a decade at Monash University (Prato Centre), coordinating student life, wellbeing programs, cultural events, and international artist residencies. As Director of Student Life at AEF, Mariagiulia oversees student wellbeing, experiential learning, and community engagement.
She builds and nurtures partnerships with external organizations to enrich student programs and volunteer opportunities, while supporting the strategic growth of experiential learning. Collaborating with the Academic Office and Senior Leadership Team, Mariagiulia helps expand initiatives like academic internships and innovative learning structures to enhance students’ practical and cultural experiences.
Holding a BA in Foreign Languages and Literatures and an MA in Translation from the University of Florence, Mariagiulia also brings a background in dance, performing arts, and communication, enriching her inclusive, student-centered approach with creativity and intercultural insight.
