Elisabetta Santanni

Academic Director

Elisabetta holds a degree in Political Science from the University of Florence. She began her career coordinating electoral campaigns for members of the Italian Parliament, then joined the Gucci Group in 1998, working in Investor Relations.
She later moved into social research, collaborating with the University of Florence and various institutions. Since 2010, she has taught Italian language and culture to international students through Harding University and AACUPI.
Now Academic Director at the Accademia Europea di Firenze, she is committed to creating meaningful learning opportunities that connect students with the host community—an approach she believes can transform a study abroad experience.
She is pursuing a PhD in Higher Education Internationalisation at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore.
