Pitti Uomo

pitti uomo 2019 Florence

Not just Renaissance art, traditional culture and immortal beauty. Between fashion shows, parties and exclusive events, Florence is transformed into a large catwalk in the name of elegance and the most innovative trends. From January 8 to 11, in fact, the Tuscan capital will be literally invaded by fashion dedicated to men with Pitti Uomo, the largest international platform dedicated to menswear, with the launch of new clothing and accessories collections, and with many new trends in men's fashion.

Dandy or ultra-elegant, fashion victim or top class, the Pitti man is always original and loves to show off. In addition, Florence, immersed in the most visited works of art in the world among immortal architectures, paintings and sculptures, will become a real open-air showroom, where the keyword will be "style".

For this edition - the ninety-fifth - with the presentation of the fashion and lifestyle FW 2019/20 collections for men, more than 1000 brands, 36,000 visitors and 25,000 buyers are expected. It is one of the key events in men's fashion that places Florence among the world's fashion capitals.

Unconventional, Fashion at work, HI Beauty, Futuro maschile and Urban Panorama are just some of the sections, thirteen in all, in which the exhibition of over 60,000 square meters of the Fortezza da Basso is divided.

However, that’s not all! The entire city will breathe fashion and elegance, with many tailor-made events on the city's fabric: from the new settings of the Gucci Garden Period Rooms in the historic Palazzo della Mercanzia in Piazza della Signoria, to the premiere of the fashion film "Show your sole", by Cuoio di Toscana at the Cinema Teatro Odeon, with numerous international brands such as Giorgio Armani, Byblos, Iceberg and Les Copains, to name a few. And still many highlights where art meets fashion, for example in the special project created by Haculla, or the exclusive capsule collection designed by Barbour, the incursions in lifestyle brands such as Diadora or Woolrich, an interesting discovery section on the Portuguese scene and the final of the Tokyo Fashion Awards.
