The Renaissance and Baroque Singing Course covers the performance techniques of the solo vocal repertoire, with special focus on the Italian repertoire.
Thanks to a wide range of songs selected ad hoc for each individual student, coming from the repertoire of the most important composers of the Late Renaissance and Baroque eras, the aspects of extemporary playing are addressed, such as ornamentations, diminutions, variations, etc. The work is backed up with specific studies aimed at achieving a vocal emission that has fluidity and uniformity in the color and registers.
