The aim of the Musical Drama Course is to examine and comment on each written characteristic of the composer in order to understand a melodrama or an opera in depth.
The choice and timbre of an instrument, the meaning and purpose of a rhythm or chord, the melody and its relationship with the harmony, consonance and dissonance: these all take on the same value as the singing, and in actual fact they provoke, support, complement and integrate the singing in order to express an event through music.
